This class is about sharing the basic shooting fundamentals along with the fun, as well as the seriousness and the importance of being a responsibly armed female. In the beginner class based on curriculum from the United Stated Concealed Carry Association (USCCA), we take you through gun safety and fundamentals of shooting to include stance, grip, sight alignment and trigger control. We put everything you learn together on the range to take your first shots. 

In this introduction module, Beth Alcazar introduces students to the basics of handgun safety, including how to safely clear (unload) a semi-automatic pistol. Alcazar goes on to explain and demonstrate the seven basic fundamentals for safe and accurate shooting. The lesson is rounded out by taking those basics, and putting them into practice both in the classroom and on the shooting range. This lesson will act as a building block as the student progresses to Women’s Intermediate Pistol.
